Sri Lanka Women will host West Indies for three ODIs and three T20Is in June

T20Is will prepare for the Asia Cup, while ODIs form part of the ICC Women's Championship.
Sri Lanka, fresh after qualifying for the Women's T20 World Cup, will host the West Indies for three ODIs and three T20Is from June 15 to 28.
For Sri Lanka, the tour will primarily serve as preparation for the T20 Asia Cup, which will be held in Sri Lanka beginning July 20. It will be their second bilateral T20I series of the year, following their victorious tour of South Africa in March and April. They also plan to travel to Ireland in August.

West Indies just completed a month-long tour to Pakistan, winning both the ODI and T20I series. As it stands, they will be their final competitive games until the World Cup in October.
The last time these two sides met in a bilateral series was in 2017 when West Indies whitewashed Sri Lanka in both T20Is and ODIs. The West Indies have an 18-4 head-to-head record against Sri Lanka in Twenty20 Internationals. The ODIs have been significantly closer, with the West Indies winning 18 and Sri Lanka 14.
This trip, however, has the potential to be a much more closely fought encounter, with Sri Lanka coming off historic series victories over England, New Zealand, and South Africa in the last year.

The ODI series will take place in Galle from June 15 to 21, and it is part of the ICC Women's Championship, which serves as a qualification for the 2025 ODI World Cup. The West Indies are now seventh in the Women's Championship points table, with Sri Lanka eighth. Except for hosts India, the top four teams will qualify directly.
The T20Is will be placed at Hambantota from June 24 to 28.
