Toss Zimbabwe elects to bowl against Bangladesh.
Sikandar Raza, Zimbabwe's captain, elected to bowl first in the fourth Twenty20
International against Bangladesh in Dhaka. The visitors dropped wicketkeeper
Joylord Gumbie and middle-order batsman Craig Ervine in favor of left-arm quick
Richard Ngarava and batter Ryan Burl.
Najmul Hossain Shanto, Bangladesh's captain, also wanted to bowl first.
Shakib Al Hasan Soumya Sarkar and Mustafizur Rahman returned for Bangladesh, who were also added to the team ahead of the game. Mahmudullah, Litton
Das, and Mohammad Saifuddin made room for the trio.
Shakib last played a T20I in July 2023, but an eye issue and
a finger injury limited his opportunities following the ODI World Cup last
year. Mustafizur, meanwhile, returned to the team after a brief absence due to
an IPL stint with Chennai Super Kings.
The match is the first T20I to be played at Dhaka's Shere Bangla National
Stadium since March 2023. During this time, Bangladesh played their final 11
T20Is in either Sylhet or Chattogram.
Bangladesh leads the five-match series 3-0, having won the first three matches
by eight wickets, six wickets, and nine runs, respectively.
