Fortune Barishal 136 for 3 (Tamim 52*, Mayers 50) defeated Chattogram Challengers 135 for 9 (Brown 34, Shuvagata 24, Mayers 2-28, Saifuddin 2-28, McCoy 2-29) by seven wickets in the knockout round.
Good fortune In the Eliminator match in Mirpur, Barishal defeated Chattogram Challengers by seven wickets to stay in the running for a spot in the BPL final. With a superb all-around performance, Kyle Mayers led the way for Barishal, taking two wickets before reaching a quick fifty.

In the opening over of their 136-run chase, Barishal lost Soumya Sarkar, but No. 3 Mayers and Tamim Iqbal soon responded. In the second over, Tamim hit three fours off Al-Amin Hossain, and in the third over, Mayers joined in with his first six. Then, with three sixes and two fours in the fifth over, Mayers destroyed Shuvagata Hom for 26 runs.
Mayers faced 26 balls and was out shortly after turning 50 after being caught behind by Bilal Khan. He hit three fours and five sixes. Barishal won with 5.1 overs remaining thanks to Tamim's unbeaten 52 off 43 balls, which included nine fours. Tamim kept the chase moving.

David Miller, a rookie player for Barishal, didn't push the issue, scoring 17 off 13 balls before being caught for a straightforward catch at deep midwicket. Tamim had Mushfiqur Rahim alongside him to finish the chase.
Tanzid Hasan, Chattogram's in-form opener, was a big gamble previously. However, he lost the second over. When Saifuddin caught the left-hander behind, he was awarded a major wicket. Josh Brown, Tanzid's opening partner, made a fleeting attack, hitting two fours and three sixes, but he hollowed out at point to Miller. With 22 balls, Brown made 34.
Chattogram passed the 100 mark thanks to Shuvagata's 24 off 16 balls, but the Barishal bowlers held onto the game for the remainder of the innings. Mayers, Saifuddin, and Obed McCoy each claimed two wickets, while James Fuller and Taijul Islam each claimed one wicket.
